- Invalid Key
- 1. It is INCORRECT to enter your own keys. You have to get key from LinksAlpha. Note: keys are auto-generated and you have to get them from LinksAlpha for the functionality to work. You cannot generate the keys yourself and make them work.
- 2. It is INCORRECT to enter multiple keys at once - as in: 92aanj451ed5494568kjd8e5786e5e78 56yeijewt4568kjd8e34343fw 87gijmwef5494568kjd8e578jo93
- You HAVE to enter 1 key at a time - as in 92aanj451ed5494568kjd8e5786e5e78 and then click on 'Add API key'.
- 3. You copied the key incorrectly from LinksAlpha.com. To learn how to copy the key, please read the text below.
- How to copy key?
- Option 1
- Double click with your mouse on the long API key.
- Then, on your keyboard - press 'Ctrl' and 'C' - simultaneously (this will copy the key)
- Then, go to your Wordpress Admin menu for the plugin and in the API key box, press 'Ctrl' and 'V' - simultaneously. The key should be copied
- Now press 'Add API key' button.
- Option 2
- Bring your mouse arrow to the start of the key
- With the mouse pressed with your index finger, drag the mouse across the key. This should highlight the key in 'blue' color. Ensure that you have dragged the mouse all the way to the end of the key
- Now, right-click with your mouse on the highlighted area and select Copy
- Now, go to your Wordpress Admin menu for the plugin and in the API key box, right-click with your mouse-key and select 'paste'. The API key should be present
- Now press 'Add API key' button.
- The API key is around ~25-~35 characters long, for example, 92aanj451ed5494568kjd8e5786e5e78. So when you enter the key ensure that it is a long one instead of something like: ab55fdc7dcb9
